The Amateur event is designed to provide an opportunity for Canada's top amateurs to compete alongside the Pros!  The Selection Committee will use the IWWF Ranking List, the Canadian Ranking List, and results at major events as a guide to the selection of competitors. There are 2 divisions in the amateur event – U14 and U21.  The Amateur Event will be limited to approximately 75 pulls, and we will be seeking 6 male / 6 female competitors in each of U14 and U21, but this is subject to change at the discretion of the Selection Committee.  The Selection Committee reserves the right to offer wild card entries to the event.  All skiers will ski in their appropriate age divisions and their score will be based on the current Canadian record in their age division.
The Selection Committee will use the IWSF World Ranking List as a guide to the selection of competitors. Registration is limited to 25 in elite men slalom,  20 in elite men jump, and 20 in elite women slalom. The Selection Committee reserves the right to offer wild card entries to the event, and reserves the right to invite 4 Canadian Men and 4 Canadian Women to compete.

If an amateur aged skier skis, or has previously skied, in the Pro Event they are not eligible to enter the amateur event.
All decisions of the Selection Committee are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
