What’s New for the 2017 Season?
For the 2017 season, Shalom Park is excited to announce changes intended to make water skiing more accessible for everyone, lessen wait times, and make your skiing experience more enjoyable.
Shalom Park has partnered with MINDBODY, a leading global online marketplace for wellness services that currently connects 31 million health enthusiasts with over 55,000 businesses around the world.
Through the MINDBODY APP, you will be able to book and pay for ski time in advance. Ski sets will be generally be sold in 15 minute increments, except during periodic "Rush Hour" times when sets will be 10 minutes long (6 sets per hour) to accomodate more skiers sneaking to the lake on the way home from work. There will generally be 32 ski slots available each day (Monday – Friday), and you can book as many as you want.
You may already be using the MINDBODY APP for yoga, Crossfit, massage, or personal training. If not, all you need to do to get started is download the app here:
What about the PassTime System?
The PassTime system is being retired and replaced with MINDBODY. You will no longer need to pay an upfront membership fee, buy ski time, or keep track of your card. All you need is your smartphone or computer (and if you forget those, you can still show up at the lake and we will book the next available spot for you).
Sets will now be based on time (15 minutes to be exact) rather than passes, so you will be able to take more than 6 passes if you want, or take extra rest time at each end to get some coaching.
How much does skiing cost?
Pricing will remain about the same, and very competitive with other private ski sites. Check out our 2017 pricing, including Early Bird Discounts and other Introductory Offers: 2017 Season Pricing
What if I have time left on my PassTime card from last season?
If you have time left on your card from the 2016 season (other than a Full Prepaid Membership), you will be able to turn it in for a MINDBODY Gift Certificate that you may use to book future ski sets.
What is the MINDBODY APP?
The MINDBODY® app is a free mobile app that links you to a worldwide network of MINDBODY businesses. You can browse classes, book appointments, and buy passes from opted-in businesses in your area. If you've added a credit card to your account, or received a gift card from the business, you can even pay before you arrive.
What if I've already created an account online?
You'll still need to sign up for an account through the MINDBODY app. Your mobile account is separate from the profile used at your local business.
When you register with MINDBODY, the app searches for existing MINDBODY profiles and syncs them to your mobile device. The syncing process works by matching two pieces of information across accounts: your email address and your first and last name. Once synced, you can access all of your previously purchased passes directly from the app.
Can I Bring a Friend?
Absolutely. Anyone can book ski time, and there will be no Shalom Park membership required.

What if the weather is bad?
Shalom Park staff will of course make safety our first priority, and will cancel sets if inclement weather or other conditions makes skiing unsafe. All sets cancelled by Shalom Park will be refunded in full. Other than Shalom Park staff cancellations, all other cancellations must abide by the regular cancellation policy above (at least 24 hours in advance or $15 cancellation fee).
