Shalom is a Hebrew greeting. It also means total peace and well-being. Shalom Park is set in the country, nestled in the North Saskatchewan river valley across the road from Rabbit Hill Snow Ski area, just south of Edmonton. It is a man-made lake with natural growths of trees that are home to wildlife, birds and God's beauty.
While Shalom Park is historically known for its competition water ski facility, it is also an ideal setting for WEDDINGS and celebrations. Whether the bridal couple chooses an outdoor ceremony overlooking the lake or a reception in the hall, the setting is one of natural beauty and tranquility.
The hall has many windows overlooking the water and trees. It accommodates as many as 150 guests at round tables. There is a central dance floor, fireplace and a separate buffet room. It is a non-smoking facility with large outdoor decks for your guests to enjoy.
What is provided?
When you book your event at Shalom Park, most of the arrangements are provided for you. The hall comes complete with room set up, including round tables, padded chairs, white linens and skirts, white china, stainless cutlery and glass stemware.
Shalom Park has resident caterers who are known for their first class, home-style cooking. Whether you choose the prime rib, the steamed salmon or something in between, your guests will express their appreciation. They also provide excellent Ukrainian options such as cabbage rolls and pyrogies.
Prices start at $27.50 per person and increase, depending on what options you choose. Depending on what you choose to do with decorations and center pieces, you can arrive with nearly everything done for you.

ACCOMODATIONS:
SHALOM PARK does offer onsite Banquet attendees over night camping/motor homes for $20.00 a night. We do not have hook ups or shower facilities and all garbage must be hauled out. Most set ups should be done west of the Banquet center in the large parking area and beyond. Out houses are available for use North of the dock, up the hill.
